Yao Open Prompts is an open source Chinese collection of AI prompts, built from an earlier prompt compilation and later additions, organized around real scenarios like work, study, content creation, marketing, and daily life. The repository organizes 117 Chinese prompt files by scenario rather than by source document, and each prompt keeps only the reusable core: a title, a short description, and the copyable prompt text. Material that would not fit cleanly into an open repository, such as tutorial promotion, screenshots of results, video attachments, and leftover HTML formatting, was removed during the reorganization. Related prompts are grouped into themed sets, for example a collection of fifty creative prompts for the Nano Banana model and a set of PowerPoint scenario prompts for the same model, so the repository does not end up as hundreds of scattered single prompt files. Prompts are grouped into categories covering AI methods, AI work, AI study, AI life, AI education, AI content, AI programming, AI marketing, and AI thinking, with counts ranging from a handful of prompts in smaller categories up to fifty in the content category. A full catalog file lists every prompt with a link. There is also a parallel English language folder that mirrors the same file structure so English speaking readers can find equivalent prompts. Each prompt file follows a standard format with frontmatter fields for title, category, subcategory, source, author, version, creation date, and status, so contributors can add new prompts using a template and keep the collection consistent. A quality check script and catalog generation script help maintain the repository as it grows. The content is licensed under CC BY 4.0, and any code or tooling added later would use MIT separately. The full README is longer than what was shown.
