Runs as a skill inside Claude Code or a similar AI assistant, no separate infrastructure needed.
Script Forging (剧本锻造) is a Chinese-language AI skill designed for users of Claude Code or similar AI assistants who want to turn a finished story into a production-ready screenplay. It is a workflow engine with defined stages and checkpoints, not a one-click generator: at each checkpoint the tool stops and waits for your approval before continuing, so creative decisions stay with you. The process starts with a format assessment, where the AI recommends whether the story fits a feature film, a short film, a miniseries, or a web drama. From there it creates a 13-field control document called a screenplay prompt package that locks in what cannot be changed and what must be preserved. After you approve that document, it writes a detailed scene-by-scene outline with 10 fields per scene. After another approval, it writes the full screenplay draft and generates a self-check report flagging structural problems. If serious issues are found, a second draft follows automatically. Optional outputs available after the screenplay is finalized include a shot list at three levels of detail (key shots only, scene-level, or full frame-by-frame), and a digital asset list covering characters, locations, props, motifs, and costume states for use in AI visual generation or physical production preparation. The skill works alongside a companion tool called Narrative Translation (叙事转译), which analyzes whether a story is ready to be filmed before the screenplay stage begins. Stories are graded A through D: only A-grade stories proceed directly to Script Forging, while lower grades first go through a development revision pass. Both tools can be run together as a complete pipeline from raw story to final screenplay, shot list, and actor reading materials.
