What is sii-beamer-theme?

This repository is an unofficial presentation slide theme for LaTeX Beamer, styled to match the visual identity of Shanghai Innovation Institute (SII) in China. Beamer is a tool that lets academics and researchers create slide decks using the same typesetting system they use for papers, which is common in university and research settings. The theme provides a branded look for academic presentations including a title page with the SII background image and logo, automatic section overview pages, a consistent footer, and a closing thank-you page. It is designed in 16:9 format and supports Chinese text through the XeLaTeX typesetting engine. The theme also includes some ready-made components such as highlighted blocks for key messages, compact summary bars at the bottom of slides, small colored label tags, and flowchart styles for drawing diagrams. To use it, you write your presentation in a plain text file using LaTeX commands, then compile it with a tool called XeLaTeX to produce a PDF. The repository includes an example presentation file and the compiled PDF so you can preview the result without installing anything first. The actual theme is contained in two files: one that handles the layout and slide templates, and one that defines the color palette. The theme source code is open source under the GPL-3.0 license.
