What is ha-weatherflow-bom-weathercard?

This project is a custom weather card for Home Assistant, a popular smart home platform, built specifically for Australian users who own a WeatherFlow Tempest weather station and also use Australia's Bureau of Meteorology, known as BOM, for forecasts. It combines live readings from your own backyard weather station with BOM's five day forecast and hourly rain predictions into a single compact card you can add to your smart home dashboard. The card shows live temperature and humidity from your station, automatically switching to BOM data if your station goes offline. A third box on the card intelligently shows whichever weather condition matters most right now, such as strong wind, heavy rain, lightning, or extreme UV, and you can tap it to manually cycle through different readings if you prefer. Wind gusts are shown clearly with color changes as they get stronger, well before reaching officially extreme levels. Below that sits a five day forecast pulled from BOM, and tapping on today or tomorrow expands a scrollable hourly rain graph showing how rain chances change throughout the day. The card is careful to show rain percentages in a way that stays consistent between the daily summary and the hourly graph, rather than showing numbers that could seem to disagree with each other. Finally, a footer strip displays any active BOM weather warnings for your area, and if there are no warnings, it simply shows today's general weather description instead, so the footer is never left blank. Warning text is shown exactly as BOM writes it, without editing or shortening.
