Ships unsigned as LemuroidDebug rather than the official Lemuroid app.
This repository is a fork of Lemuroid, an open source emulation app for Android built on Libretro, with the original project's goal being ease of use and a smooth Android experience. Lemuroid itself grew out of an earlier project called Retrograde and now integrates a component called LibretroDroid. The fork adds cheat code support for several emulator cores. It handles Game Genie style codes for the NES and SNES cores, GameShark and Action Replay style codes for the Game Boy Advance core, and both Game Genie and GameShark style codes for the Game Boy and Game Boy Color cores, with support for chaining multiple codes together on the Game Boy Advance. It also adds turbo buttons on the NES, Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy cores, mapped to two of the controller's face buttons, with a turbo speed that can be set to slow, normal, or fast from the quick game menu. Beyond cheats and turbo, this fork adds support for applying .ips patch files to ROMs, letting a player apply one or several patches to the same game by naming them in sequence and then rescanning the library. It also adds selectable fast forward speeds up to four times normal, and the ability to export and import save files, with a note that importing over an existing save slot leaves the old save's thumbnail visible until a new save is made in that slot. Because the fork is not signed with the original developer's key, it shows up on a device as a separate app called LemuroidDebug rather than replacing the official Lemuroid. The base Lemuroid project supports a long list of classic consoles including the NES, SNES, Game Boy family, Sega Genesis and Master System, Nintendo 64, PlayStation, PSP, Nintendo DS, and several handhelds, along with features like automatic save states, ROM scanning, customizable touch controls, cloud save syncing, and an optional display filter that simulates an LCD or CRT screen.
A fork of the Android emulator Lemuroid adding cheat code support, turbo buttons, ROM patching, and adjustable fast forward across multiple console cores.
Mainly Kotlin. The stack also includes Kotlin, Android, Libretro.
