This repository is the home page for Tencent's Rhino-bird Open-source Training Program, a program the company runs to introduce university students and developers to open-source software development. The program started in 2021 and has run every year since, with the fifth edition announced here. The program is structured in three stages: foundational open-source coursework, practice by contributing fixes or improvements to real issues in Tencent's open-source projects, and hands-on project work on specific technical topics. This year's focus areas include Tencent's Hunyuan multimodal AI model, AI inference frameworks, front-end development, game programming, big data, databases, networking, compilers, and operating systems, as well as Tencent Docs. Participants who perform well receive a Tencent-issued certificate of recognition, cash prizes, and branded merchandise. Students who earn an "outstanding student" certificate are given priority access to Tencent job interviews. The program is co-organized by Tencent's open-source team and Tencent's university partnerships division, with guidance from several Chinese Ministry of Education teaching committees covering computer science, software engineering, and electronic information fields. More details are available on the official program website listed in the README.
