What is patchflow?

PatchFlow is a web platform for tracking software development issues, meant to give a team one central place to create, organize, and follow the progress of tasks instead of spreading them across scattered tools. Users can write out issues with a description, a priority level, a status, and a link to the project they belong to. Tasks are shown on a Kanban board, where each issue is a card that moves across columns representing stages of work, and cards can be dragged from one column to another as work progresses. There is also a calendar view that lays out tasks and deadlines on a timeline, so a team can spot overdue items or upcoming due dates at a glance. Both views update automatically as issues change elsewhere in the platform. A Teams feature lets a project owner assign specific people to a project, giving them their own workspace showing only the projects shared with them. Assigned members can update the status of an issue but cannot edit the project's core details, keeping day to day tracking open while project ownership stays with its creator. PatchFlow also includes two AI powered features built on Google's AI. Auto-Fill takes just a short title for a new issue and generates a full description for it, which a user can edit before saving. Project Health Analysis looks at a project's issues, priorities, deadlines, and workload, then produces a short summary of its progress, points out likely bottlenecks, and suggests what to prioritize next. GitHub integration is planned so repositories and their existing issues can be imported directly into PatchFlow rather than recreated by hand, letting imported GitHub issues be managed on the same Kanban board and calendar as native PatchFlow tasks.
