Requires a LaTeX or Typst installation for PDF output, the Markdown version needs only a text editor.
NovaForge is a collection of note-taking templates for Chinese-language students and researchers, designed to help organize knowledge systematically across any subject area. The templates follow a seven-step structure for each topic: concept introduction, core principles, methods and techniques, worked examples, real exam questions or project cases, consolidation exercises, and summary review. This progression is meant to turn scattered information into structured, reusable knowledge. The templates are available in three formats: LaTeX for typeset PDF output with full Chinese character support, Typst as a more modern alternative for PDF generation, and Markdown for quick plain-text editing in any editor. Six scenario-specific templates are included covering chapter notes for coursework, exam preparation, graduate school entrance exam study, civil service exam preparation, research paper annotation, and project retrospectives. A single setting change switches the entire document's color scheme. The repository also includes a skill file for Claude Code, which allows an AI assistant to automatically generate notes in the NovaForge format when prompted. You would use this if you are a Chinese-speaking student or researcher who wants a structured, domain-agnostic template for taking high-quality notes that are easy to review later. It requires a LaTeX or Typst installation for PDF output, or any text editor for the Markdown version.
