What is codex-startup-channel-finder?

This project is a skill for Codex, an AI coding assistant, that helps a founder figure out where to launch their startup. Instead of handing back a generic list of popular websites, it studies the product and its ideal customer, then researches communities, forums, directories, launch platforms, newsletters, marketplaces, and niche online spaces to find places worth posting in right now. Each potential channel is checked for real evidence that the target audience actually shows up there and cares about the problem being solved, along with whatever posting or submission rules that channel has. Every channel gets a score out of one hundred based on a fixed formula covering audience fit, whether the pain point is present, whether posting there is actually allowed, good timing, and how much effort it takes. Based on that score, each channel is labeled as ready to post now, needing you to contribute first before posting, requiring a formal submission, or best skipped entirely. For every channel worth acting on, it writes a tailored draft post rather than reusing the same message everywhere, and it puts together a seven day calendar for when to post where. The results come out as a Markdown report you can read directly, a CSV file for the launch calendar, and a JSON file containing the supporting evidence for each score. The README is clear that popularity alone does not count as a good fit, and it will not invent data it cannot verify. It only uses information that is already public, and it will not create accounts, submit forms, message people, or post anything on your behalf automatically. All action stays in your hands. You install it with a single command that places it into your Codex skills folder, then restart Codex. It is released under the MIT license.
