What is trakt-nuvio-bridge?

Trakt-Nuvio-Bridge is a standalone static web tool, written in JavaScript, that moves your viewing data from Trakt, a service for tracking movies and TV shows you have watched, into Nuvio Sync, a separate media-tracking platform. If you have a history of watched movies, episodes in progress, a watchlist, or a collection stored on Trakt, this tool lets you import all of that into Nuvio without manually re-entering anything. The tool runs entirely inside your web browser, which means your Nuvio login credentials and your Trakt session token never leave your device and are never stored anywhere. The page connects to Trakt and Nuvio directly from the browser, keeps the authentication tokens in memory only while the page is open, and clears everything when you refresh. There is no database, no analytics, and no cookies. For the sync itself, watched movies and TV episodes are pushed into Nuvio's watched-items endpoint, playback progress is pushed separately, and optional watchlist and collection data can be imported into your Nuvio library. Because Nuvio's library endpoint fully replaces existing data rather than adding to it, the tool first retrieves your current Nuvio library, merges the Trakt imports into it, removes duplicates, and then pushes the combined result, so nothing already in your Nuvio library gets lost. It also handles episode numbering differences between Trakt and Nuvio, which can vary for anime or shows with alternate episode orders.
