So what is it?

Dreeve is a self hosted, open source dashboard for your sports and fitness data. It was previously known as Statistics for Strava, and it lets you keep an eye on your activities, whether you get that data by connecting your Strava account or by importing raw activity files in FIT, TCX, or GPX format. Once set up, Dreeve gives you a dashboard showing your stats and charts at a glance, along with an admin panel for managing activities, gear, and settings from your browser. You can browse a detailed list of everything you have done, view monthly stats through an interactive calendar, and set up automation rules that automatically fill in things like gear, commute flags, and sport types on new activities. There is also gear tracking, which shows how much you have used each bike, pair of shoes, or other piece of equipment, along with maintenance tracking to help you keep tabs on wear and tear. Other features include distance milestone tracking called Eddington, segment and effort history, a heatmap showing where you have been most active, a timeline of key milestones and achievements, a yearly rewind style summary, and a view of which Strava challenges you have completed. You can also browse an archive of activity photos and get personalized workout suggestions from an AI workout assistant. Dreeve additionally offers shareable user badges you can embed on a website, blog, or forum profile, and it works as a progressive web app, so it can be used like a native app on a phone. The project's name comes from a West Flemish word for a tree lined country road, a nod to the kind of route cyclists and runners enjoy. Installation and configuration instructions live in the project's separate documentation site rather than in the README itself.
