What is tagmo?

TagMo is an Android app that lets you create your own Amiibo figures using blank NFC tags. If you've ever wanted a particular Amiibo but couldn't find it in stores or didn't want to pay collector prices, this app gives you a way to make a functional copy at home. You tap your phone against a blank tag, and your Nintendo Wii U, 3DS, or Switch treats it just like the real thing. To use it, you need an Android phone with NFC built in, some blank NTAG215 tags (the specific type required), and a couple of files that handle Amiibo's copy protection. You load those key files into the app once, then either scan a real Amiibo you own or load a saved Amiibo data file. The app writes that data onto the blank tag, and you've got a working Amiibo.
