What is dev-event?

Dev-Event is a community-maintained list of developer events in South Korea. The README is entirely in Korean and is updated continuously by over 200 contributors. It serves as a central calendar for Korean developers who want to find upcoming webinars, conferences, and hackathons without having to hunt across multiple event platforms. Each entry in the list shows the event name as a link, along with a small set of tags indicating whether it is online or offline (with city and district if offline), whether it is free or paid, and what category it falls under (AI, cloud, security, general technical content, contests, and so on). The listing also shows the organizing company or community and the registration window. The events covered span a wide range of topics including AI and machine learning, cloud infrastructure, mobile development, blockchain, data science, security, and general programming meetups. Both large corporate events (AWS Summit, SK Telecom seminars, LG CNS camps) and smaller community meetups appear side by side in the same list. Beyond the GitHub repository, the project offers a web interface, Android and iOS apps, and an Instagram account, all linking to the same underlying event data. There is also an email subscription option for people who prefer to get updates without visiting the repo.
