What is blotato-skills?

blotato-skills is a Claude Code plugin marketplace that bundles a set of free skills for writing and scheduling social media posts. Instead of one general tool, it packages seven separate skills that a person can call inside a Claude Code conversation, each aimed at a different step of turning an idea into a finished, scheduled post. Installing the marketplace takes two commands inside Claude Code: one to add the marketplace and one to install the blotato plugin itself. Once installed, typing a slash command brings up all seven skills so the user can pick the one they need. The seven skills cover different parts of the content workflow. content-coach acts as a starting point for someone who does not know what to post and can hand off to the other skills. brand-brief is meant to be run once to capture details about a business, its customers, its call to action, its story, and its voice, so later posts can stay consistent. post-writer turns a topic into a finished post for a chosen platform such as Instagram. post-grader reviews an existing draft and points out the top three things to fix. post-scheduler sends a finished post out through Blotato to be published, for example to LinkedIn. repurpose takes something like a blog post and turns it into a week's worth of separate posts. viral-hooks is a collection of a hundred opening lines and hook styles that can be used to start a post. The README notes that these skill files are generated from pages on the Blotato help site, and that the SKILL.md files inside the repository should not be edited by hand. Anyone who wants to change a skill needs to edit the source page on the Blotato docs site and rebuild it there. For people without file system access, such as those using claude.ai in a browser, the docs also describe a way to download the skills as a zip file and upload each one individually instead of using the plugin install commands.
