Skills work by reading SKILL.md files directly, install.sh symlinks them into Claude Code's global skills folder.
Business Skills Library is a collection of 69 written playbooks that cover almost every job function inside a company, including sales, marketing, SEO, paid advertising, analytics, social media, content, video, email, customer success, operations, product, hiring, and PR. Each playbook is a self-contained guide called a SKILL.md file, written in the Agent Skills format, meant to be followed either by a person or by an AI agent to carry out that job from start to finish. Every skill file lays out what information you need to gather before starting, a step-by-step process to follow, templates you can fill in, what the finished output should look like, and a checklist to confirm the work meets a certain quality bar. On the sales side, for example, there are skills for writing cold email sequences, running LinkedIn outreach, writing sales call scripts, qualifying leads, drafting proposals, handling objections, and managing a sales pipeline. On the marketing side there are skills for building a marketing plan, a go to market plan, customer personas, competitor analysis, and market research. There is also a full set of SEO skills covering keyword research, content briefs, on-page fixes, technical audits, link building, and local SEO, plus a growing section for paid ads covering Google Ads and Meta ads campaigns. If you use Claude Code, these skills are already wired up through symlinks in the repository, so any session working in this project can call on them automatically, and running an install script makes them available across all your projects on that machine. If you use a different AI agent, the README explains that the agent can read a skill's SKILL.md file directly and follow it, using the description written at the top of each file to figure out which skill matches what the user is asking for. A file called AGENTS.md explains this discovery and chaining process in more detail, and a MINDMAP.md file gives a visual overview of the whole library. The full README is longer than what was shown.
