What is rhymerge-music?

RhyMerge is a collaboration platform designed to help independent musicians find each other and work together. Instead of scrolling through a social media feed, producers, vocalists, songwriters, and mix engineers can post or browse specific collaboration requests. You can specify what you need, like a singer for a pop track or an engineer for a rock EP, along with your terms, such as paid work, revenue split, credit only, or just for fun. The core workflow is straightforward. First, you post a request or browse existing ones filtered by role and genre. When you find a match, you connect and chat in real time. Once you are ready to work, you move into a shared project room. This room acts as your shared workspace where you can upload files and audio stems, track different versions, play audio directly in the browser, and manage a queue of other creators who want to join the project. This platform is built for independent artists and creators who want a dedicated space to manage their music projects. For example, a beatmaker looking for a vocalist can browse profiles, find someone with matching availability, and start a private conversation. From there, they can share audio files, leave feedback, and keep all their project files organized in one place without needing to juggle separate file-sharing services and chat apps. The project includes a few notable technical choices. It uses an optional AI feature powered by Anthropic's Claude to offer production suggestions, but it gracefully falls back to static advice if no AI key is configured.
