What is spacex-ppt-skill?

This repository is an AI Skill for generating presentation decks in the style of SpaceX launch briefings, meant to be installed into an AI agent rather than run as a standalone program. It is not affiliated with SpaceX. The visual style is all black backgrounds, full screen photography, fading overlays, light capitalized titles, and restrained data layouts, aimed at turning a topic, an outline, or scattered notes into slides that look like a polished launch event rather than an ordinary business deck. The skill fits pitch decks, roadshow presentations, and product launch materials, especially for future leaning topics like technology, space, energy, hardware, and AI, or any presentation that wants a minimal black visual system. Once installed, you simply describe what you want, such as a ten slide pitch deck for an AI chip startup, and the skill produces HTML slides styled with a bundled template and stylesheet, then renders them into a final PDF along with individual PNG images for each slide and a credits file for any stock photos used. Installation works by pointing your AI agent at the GitHub repository and asking it to install only the inner skill subfolder into your local skills directory, or by copying that folder there yourself. The skill pulls themed photography from Pexels, so before first use you need to create a free Pexels API key and either save it into a key file or set it as an environment variable, and that key file is excluded from version control so it is not accidentally committed. The design guidance built into the skill favors one consistent photography theme per deck, natural landscapes like coastlines, deserts, mountains, or night skies, minimal text with generous white space, and avoids colorful decoration or typical stock photo business imagery.
